Accessibility

Disclaimer: The Crystal Caves does not have any accredited Auslan employees.

Wheelchair Access

The Crystal Caves is wheelchair friendly. There are 12 steps at the very end of the cave tour however, you can make your way back the way you came. There are also accessible emergency exits.

Vision Impaired

The Crystal Caves is very tactile. René built the caves to be interactive. Listen to the ambient music as you and your support person walk through the caves. Listen to your support person describe the crystals and reach out and touch the crystals on display that are not behind glass.

Hearing Impaired

René built the caves to be interactive. You are allowed to touch all crystals and even the cave itself. Feel how the expandable foam feels a little squishy and notice the different temperatures as you touch the crystals. Some are warm, while others are cold to touch.

Let the guidebook lead the way.

Limited Mobility

Within the caves along the ramp there are handrails for your support. You are welcome to sit on some of the bigger specimens within the cave. There is a pallet chair at the giant Amethyst water feature for your comfort. The stairs at the cave exit is supported with handrails as well.

We welcome all pets and service animals. Our staff respect that your service dog is there to do a job. If you require any assistance or have any questions, please just speak with one of our lovely staff members. We can even get water for them if needed.
