What are geodes?
After the lava cooled, silica and other minerals leached into the hollow cavity and gradually lined the inside with crystals.
Traces of iron and calcium created inclusions in the geode and determined the colour of the geodes.

WHAT TO WEAR
As you can imagine, it’s pretty messy work cracking rocks!
For safety reasons, we ask that you please ensure you have some form of footwear on to protect your feet from any bits of crystals that may have fallen on the floor.
